Tuesday Nov 16, 2021
The holidays are coming and if you’re like us, there’s gonna be some added stress around this season. In this episode, we begin our 6-part series: “Family Survival Kit for the Holidays.” Many of us have expectations of the perfect holiday, but that can be problematic for most. As TalkDoc suggests, we can minimize some of the expected conflict by planning ahead, especially by planning our communication. We want to be practical about what we can improve. We’ll start by unpacking what a communication survival kit entails and have a laugh at our expense as we share some of our own shortcomings. Looking back at what we’ve learned from previous episodes will help us manage expectations and guide us through this holiday season. Now available in video format on YouTube!
